Books for April

A slow reading month last month. Not sure why, just the way it is sometimes I think. Anyhoo - books for April:

The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents – Terry Pratchett
The Island of Adventure – Enid Blyton
The Welsh Girl – Peter Ho Davies
The Sea of Adventure – Enid Blyton
Fragile Things – Neil Gaiman

All very much enjoyed with the possible exception of The Welsh Girl which didn't live up to expectations but was hardly the worst book I've ever read. Adored 'Maurice' and plan to read more Terry Pratchett this coming month - definitely Wintersmith and I quite fancy Monstrous Regiment which has been on my tbr mountain for ages. Also plan to read more Enid Blyton and The Cat Who Could Read Backwards by Lilian Jackson Braun, thanks to the lovely and wonderful nakeisha.

Current read: Assassin's Quest by Robin Hobb which is 830 pages long but which I'm whizzing through it as it's completely unputdownable.
